The maximum power consumption is 12 watts. While this feeder is ideal for feeding outdoor fish, it has many other uses as well. It can be used to dispense dry food for other animals - or for feeding birds outdoors with any kind of birdseed. This feeder can be used even if you aren't feeding animals - use it to add chemical pellets in swimming pools.
